Keeping up with Thérèse

Everyday with Thérèse is filled with excitement. There is always more to learn about her. Lately she has been experimenting with her facial expressions. Here is a little taste. Thérèse is a thinker like her daddy. She always seems to be coming up with great ideas. Like playing in her Bumbo. Any music will pump her up to work that flimsy neck. Why just yesterday we experimented with Gregorian chant and it really did the trick! She gets tired of it after a while because holding up her head is hard work.
She also seems to be a talker like her mommy.Although we are still working on enunciation she says a pretty clear "honk" that seems to mean that she agrees. She has even mean known to mumble an occasional "hank ho" which we interpret as "Thank you mom and dad for all your love and sacrifice for me. I will take care of you when you get old." She always have something to say. She even loves to laugh at her hilarious parents. At least now we think she is still laughing with us not at us. But she also lets us know when we aren't funny. I guess this face is a little preview of what we might be seeing from our little darlin' when she's a teenager. Or this could be the face she gives her Daddy when she is not feeling what time she has to be home on a Friday night. Daddy and Grandma and Grandpa de should recognize it because Katie gives the same look!

Well the swine flu or H1N1 I should say to to not offend the pigs, is yet to hit the
Bursa household. Everyone is doing his and her best to keep germs to a minimum. We wash our hands incessantly and practice proper sneezing etiquette. "Achew!" Thérèse Marie is exempt because she still hasn't discovered her hands yet. Although that doesn't seem like a valid excuse for infecting anyone she comes into contact with... You should see the looks we get in public when she displays this rude behavior!

Man after a long and eventful day and four outfits later we are gonna call it a day. On behalf of Brad, Katie, and Thérèse we would like to wish all of our followers a wonderful wintery day!

Thérèse at One Month

Thérèse has been growing quite a bit lately. After a rough first couple week with gaining weight, she picked up 12oz in 16 days. Since then she has been sleeping better and seems to be thriving. She loves laying on her back and looking at lights. The only way to get her to sleep is by swaddling her tightly, because her hands are dangerous and greatly hinder her sleeping capabilities.

Katie shot this short video on our camera...we really need to get a Flip.

It will give you a pretty good feel for how relaxed she is when she's not crying, eating or sleeping!

We don't fully understand the red hair either...
